Workshop: Understanding the Living Building Challenge
![]() NEXTbuilding Forum is excited to announce and help promote this upcoming workshop offered through the International Living Future Institute as an outstanding educational opportunity.
The International Living Futures Institute, born of the Cascadia Region USGBC, has created the world's currently most advanced, comprehensive, holistic green building certification program called the Living Building Challenge. It is one in which a successfully certified building must, amongst other things, be net-zero energy, net-zero water and net-zero waste; and be so for one entire year after occupancy. Amazing! This workshop provides you an in-depth, 6-hour, introduction to the Living Building Challenge. The seminar is targeted to anyone and everyone who can impact the development of the built environment.
